Peyote is a cactus and succulent type plant that can be found growing in dry regions such as deserts and badlands, or within desert villages. It has 4 growth stages with the final stage featuring a pinkish flower.

Natural Generation[]
Peyote grows in small patches dotted across deserts and badland biomes and can be occasionally found in desert villages and in the "hot house" structures that would normally house cannabis or grape lattices.
Breaking[]
Peyotes can be collected by hand or with any tool. The number of cactus dropped corresponds to the age of the peyote block, so it's recommended to only break them when they're fully grown, something you can recognise by the distinctive pink flower that appears on the top of the block.

Farming[]
Once you have one peyote cactus, more of the plant can be easily farmed by simply placing the fresh peyote down on a block and allowing it to grow. Collecting and replanting the peyote works identically to naturally generated plants and this can be repeated to create as much as the player requires.
Drinking
9 peyotes can be combined with water in a vat to produce peyote juice.
Drying[]
Peyote in a drying table
Peyotes on their own are not edible, so they have to be first placed in the drying table to convert it into a dried peyote. The dried peyote can then be used as an ingredient fluids and drugs using the effect.
